About Us

Dr Shari Frisinger, your behavioral analyst partner
Working with you to maintain your composure when you simply want to strangle someone!

Dr Shari helps you maintain your composure when you really want to strangle someone.

Conflict, under-engagement, passive-aggressive behaviors and minimal motivation are only a few of the challenges leaders encounter. Spreading rumors, ignoring teammates, even bullying can occur at any level of an organization. This can be indicative of a more serious problem, or it can be one that is more quickly resolved.

As a leader your actions are scrutinized more than ever. "Do as I say not as I do" diminishes the trust and respect you have worked so hard for. Transparency, authenticity and a heightened situational and self awareness are essential to maintain a high performing environment.

Dr Shari has researched behaviors - both defensive behaviors and 'why do we do what we do' and combines communication styles with emotional intelligence and neuroscience, enabling you to paint a more complete picture of your team members. Then you will have several options on which you can address the situation, along with challenging and motivating others.

Dr Shari's doctorate is in Executive Leadership with her dissertation focusing on crisis leadership and emotional intelligence. She is leadership faculty at University of Charleston's School of Business & Leadership, facilitating both masters and bachelor's classes.

Her articles have been featured in industry publications, connecting safety to the thoughts swirling around in your head.

Remember: It is not what you said, it is what they think they heard!

Solutions

  • Productively Resolving Conflict

A great many conflicts are generated because of miscommunication - in tone of voice, in the words that are used, in the mannerisms and in overall behavior. Once the emotional reaction is triggered, it is difficult to 'walk back' thoughts and words.

Understanding communication styles is paramount to resolving conflict - and in stopping it before it even begins!

  • The Essential Elements of Leadership

Leading others is more than telling them what to do. It is adapting to their style of communication, understanding how they process information and providing them the information they need in that manner. It is a combination of DiSC and EI, which feed off each other and insures clarity of the person's entire behavior.
