In 2007 Nurtury's co-founder and the President of truDemand, Nicole Alos, became a new sales manager. The move from individual contributor to managing a team was more challenging than she expected. Her team brought different personality types, variations in skill level and methods of communication and learning to the equation. Most striking to Nicole were the vast differences in way her team communicated and responded to her communication style.

At an Association of Training and Development (ATD) conference, she learned about the DiSC methodology. Taking the Classic DiSC assessment helped her understand more about herself as an "Influencer" and what that meant to her team, her manager and the prospects she interacted with. When she rolled out DiSC to her team, they also learned about themselves, how they interact with their team members, their manager and their clients.

As Nicole’s responsibility grew to include national and strategic teams, she used concepts like DiSC, Five Behaviors of Cohesive Teams and Emotional Intelligence. Prior to starting truDemand/Nurtury Nicole was the VP of Sales/ Customer Success at a Philadelphia-based data insight startup, building cross-functional teams of all experience levels. As the Senior Director of Sales and Business Development at at a Hoboken-based digital marketing team, Nicole successfully built, reorganized, relocated and refocused teams across the country. She was also responsible for building national and regional teams for Drexel University Online, tasked with promoting the brand across the country and opening new campuses.

Fast forward to 2015, when her and her husband, Michael Alos, founded truDemand, a sales enablement consulting firm based in Skippack, PA. truDemand helps B2B organizations increase revenue through data driven strategies, sales enablement technologies and coaching. truDemand helps companies by making smarter decisions with the strategies they implement, the tools they use and way leaders lead their teams. Michael and Nicole often used DiSC in their sales process as well as their coaching of Sales, Business Development and Customer Success teams.

In 2018, it only seemed fitting to become an Authorized Everything DiSC Partner, going beyond DiSC Classic to offer teams everywhere the chance to incorporate this concept through DiSC Workplace, DiSC for Managers, DiSC Sales, DiSC Work of Leaders and DiSC 363. Nurtury was born to offer these products, coaching & facilitation.

Online

Everything DiSC Workplace Certification is your best resource to gain foundational knowledge and tools for facilitating Everything DiSC. Designed with your busy schedule in mind, this online course gives you the flexibility of self-paced learning, paired with live-collaborative sessions led by Wiley’s expert trainers.

Increase your confidence and competence in delivering Everything DiSC Workplace in your organization. This course offers rigorous new content on the principles of the DiSC® model and the supporting research. During the live sessions, you will practice facilitating small groups and explore challenging scenarios that could arise during workshops. You’ll also learn how to keep Everything DiSC alive within your organization by creating a culture of DiSC and explore MyEverythingDiSC, the mobile-friendly, interactive learning portal that is exclusive to Everything DiSC.

This program Includes:

  • Four modules of self-directed and live collaborative learning (each requiring three to five hours of time per week), conducted over a four week period
  • Active knowledge checks to help participants assess how well they understand the content and to improve learning and retention
  • Final Certification exam (self-directed/graded activity)

Everything DiSC® Certification

In Person

With a primary purpose to increase confidence and competence in delivering Everything DiSC Workplace®, this course offers rigorous new content on the principles of the DiSC® model and supporting research. Learners will gain the expertise and credentials needed to deliver Everything DiSC Workplace within their organization by completing online pre-work and two days of practical application led by Wiley's expert trainers.

In this course, learners will:

  • Gain expertise in the Everything DiSC model and supporting research
  • Demonstrate the ability to use the Everything DiSC Workplace reports
  • Customize the Everything DiSC Workplace program to meet specific participant needs
  • Navigate challenging scenarios that could arise during a workshop or coaching session
  • Create strategies to promote a DiSC-based culture
  • Explore MyEverythingDiSC®, a mobile-friendly, interactive learning portal that is exclusive to the Everything DiSC product suite

Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive the credential of Certified Everything DiSC Workplace facilitator.
