Robert Carpenter, President, InSight Management Development

Robert Carpenter is a nationally-recognized authority on leadership and management practices. An executive coach, consultant and seminar leader for over 20 years, he has worked with public and private companies as well as organizations in the not-for-profit and trade union worlds. His work with executives in North America, Europe, and Asia makes him a unique resource with experience that is broad yet deep.

Robert’s focus is on motivating and on building workplace relationships, which heighten employee engagement. He imparts practical ways to resolve on-the-job issues and teaches executives how to inspire their staffs, creating in people a passion for the work they do and for the organization in which they do it.

Prior to founding his own firm, Robert held sales and management positions at IBM and Digital Equipment Corporation. His background also includes senior roles with management development firms and participation in the launch of two start-up companies, in addition to his own firm.

A long-term faculty member of the American Management Association, Robert holds an MBA degree from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business and numerous management development certifications and credentials.

Online

Everything DiSC Workplace Certification is your best resource to gain foundational knowledge and tools for facilitating Everything DiSC. Designed with your busy schedule in mind, this online course gives you the flexibility of self-paced learning, paired with live-collaborative sessions led by Wiley’s expert trainers.

Increase your confidence and competence in delivering Everything DiSC Workplace in your organization. This course offers rigorous new content on the principles of the DiSC® model and the supporting research. During the live sessions, you will practice facilitating small groups and explore challenging scenarios that could arise during workshops. You’ll also learn how to keep Everything DiSC alive within your organization by creating a culture of DiSC and explore MyEverythingDiSC, the mobile-friendly, interactive learning portal that is exclusive to Everything DiSC.

This program Includes:

  • Four modules of self-directed and live collaborative learning (each requiring three to five hours of time per week), conducted over a four week period
  • Active knowledge checks to help participants assess how well they understand the content and to improve learning and retention
  • Final Certification exam (self-directed/graded activity)

Everything DiSC® Certification

In Person

With a primary purpose to increase confidence and competence in delivering Everything DiSC Workplace®, this course offers rigorous new content on the principles of the DiSC® model and supporting research. Learners will gain the expertise and credentials needed to deliver Everything DiSC Workplace within their organization by completing online pre-work and two days of practical application led by Wiley's expert trainers.

In this course, learners will:

  • Gain expertise in the Everything DiSC model and supporting research
  • Demonstrate the ability to use the Everything DiSC Workplace reports
  • Customize the Everything DiSC Workplace program to meet specific participant needs
  • Navigate challenging scenarios that could arise during a workshop or coaching session
  • Create strategies to promote a DiSC-based culture
  • Explore MyEverythingDiSC®, a mobile-friendly, interactive learning portal that is exclusive to the Everything DiSC product suite

Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive the credential of Certified Everything DiSC Workplace facilitator.
