Betty Parker
Betty Parker, CPLP, President

Betty Parker is a professional speaker, author, and trainer. Her degree in broadcast journalism from Louisiana State University affords her the educational background to write and speak professionally. She is a communications expert with nearly 30 years’ experience. Betty began her career as a trainer in 1998 in the biotech industry. She started Sharper Development Solutions, Inc., a training and development company, in 2006. She is the 2013 winner of the small business accelerator program Count Me In.

Betty has educated thousands of leaders and staff across the country in a variety of performance areas. As a leadership consultant, she specializes in the following topics: communications, teamwork, diversity, conflict management, employee engagement, coaching and mentoring, customer service, and more. Betty is a regular guest host on WLXC-FM’s “N Touch” community affairs program in Columbia, SC and is an often sought out speaker for conferences and events. She is at work on her next book, Defeating Goliath: A Lesson in Problem Solving. She is a Certified Professional in Learning and Performance (CPLP) through the Association for Talent Development and a Certified Professional Coach.

Designed with your busy schedule in mind, this online course gives you the flexibility of self-paced learning, paired with live-collaborative sessions led by Wiley’s expert trainers.

Increase your confidence and competence in delivering Everything DiSC Workplace in your organization. This course offers rigorous new content on the principles of the DiSC® model and the supporting research. During the live sessions, you will practice facilitating small groups and explore challenging scenarios that could arise during workshops. You’ll also learn how to keep Everything DiSC alive within your organization by creating a culture of DiSC and explore MyEverythingDiSC, the mobile-friendly, interactive learning portal that is exclusive to Everything DiSC.

This program Includes:

  • Four modules of self-directed and live collaborative learning (each requiring three to five hours of time per week), conducted over a four week period

Everything DiSC® Certification

In Person

With a primary purpose to increase confidence and competence in delivering Everything DiSC Workplace®, this course offers rigorous new content on the principles of the DiSC® model and supporting research. Learners will gain the expertise and credentials needed to deliver Everything DiSC Workplace within their organization by completing online pre-work and two days of practical application led by Wiley's expert trainers.

In this course, learners will:

  • Gain expertise in the Everything DiSC model and supporting research
  • Demonstrate the ability to use the Everything DiSC Workplace reports
  • Customize the Everything DiSC Workplace program to meet specific participant needs
  • Navigate challenging scenarios that could arise during a workshop or coaching session
  • Create strategies to promote a DiSC-based culture
  • Explore MyEverythingDiSC®, a mobile-friendly, interactive learning portal that is exclusive to the Everything DiSC product suite

Upon successful completion of the course, learners will receive the credential of Certified Everything DiSC Workplace facilitator.
