Ben Wilhelm, MBA, MSOD
Executive Coach - Leadership Consultant - Business School Educator

Ben Wilhelm has 25 years of experience in the commercial construction industry and is managing partner of Wilhelm Gerkin Associates, LLC. Ben supports high performance individuals, groups, and organizations to reach their goals using executive coaching, facilitation, assessment, and leadership development.

Ben encourages clients to consider themselves an instrument for change. High performing people possess the ability to influence groups and organizational effectiveness through trust building, skills development, strategic alignment, and assessment.

With 25 years of business experience in talent management, operations, strategic planning and marketing, Ben earned his bachelor’s degree and MBA from the University of Indianapolis. He also earned his Masters in Organization Development (MSOD) and Executive Coaching Certificate from the McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte.

Ben is certified in The WorkPlace Big FiveTM, Myers-Brigg Type Indicator®, DiSC authorized partner, and EQ-i 2.0 profile assessments. He is currently earning his Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from UNC Charlotte at the Belk School of Business and is adjunct professor in the McColl School of Business teaching courses in organization development and organizational behavior.

Ben has extensive experience in executive coaching, team facilitation, corporate and nonprofit strategy, and business consulting. Ben chaired implementation of an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), served 6 years on a corporate board, and has served on numerous nonprofit boards.

Online

Everything DiSC Workplace Certification is your best resource to gain foundational knowledge and tools for facilitating Everything DiSC. Designed with your busy schedule in mind, this online course gives you the flexibility of self-paced learning, paired with live-collaborative sessions led by Wiley’s expert trainers.

Increase your confidence and competence in delivering Everything DiSC Workplace in your organization. This course offers rigorous new content on the principles of the DiSC® model and the supporting research. During the live sessions, you will practice facilitating small groups and explore challenging scenarios that could arise during workshops. You’ll also learn how to keep Everything DiSC alive within your organization by creating a culture of DiSC and explore MyEverythingDiSC, the mobile-friendly, interactive learning portal that is exclusive to Everything DiSC.

This program Includes:

  • Four modules of self-directed and live collaborative learning (each requiring three to five hours of time per week), conducted over a four week period
  • Active knowledge checks to help participants assess how well they understand the content and to improve learning and retention
  • Final Certification exam (self-directed/graded activity)
