Ben Wilhelm has 25 years of experience in the commercial construction industry and is managing partner of Wilhelm Gerkin Associates, LLC. Ben supports high performance individuals, groups, and organizations to reach their goals using executive coaching, facilitation, assessment, and leadership development. Ben encourages clients to consider themselves an instrument for change. High performing people possess the ability to influence groups and organizational effectiveness through trust building, skills development, strategic alignment, and assessment. With 25 years of business experience in talent management, operations, strategic planning and marketing, Ben earned his bachelor's degree and MBA from the University of Indianapolis. He also earned his Masters in Organization Development (MSOD) and Executive Coaching Certificate from the McColl School of Business at Queens University of Charlotte. Ben is certified in The WorkPlace Big FiveTM, Myers-Brigg Type Indicator, DiSC authorized partner, and EQ-i 2.0 profile assessments. He is currently earning his Doctorate in Business Administration (DBA) from UNC Charlotte at the Belk School of Business and is adjunct professor in the McColl School of Business teaching courses in organization development and organizational behavior. Ben's areas of concentration are: Executive Coaching Team Building and Facilitation Strategy Planning Talent Selection and Development Individual and Group Assessment Ben has extensive experience in executive coaching, team facilitation, corporate and nonprofit strategy, and business consulting. Ben chaired implementation of an Employee Stock Ownership Program (ESOP), served 6 years on a corporate board, and has served on numerous nonprofit boards.
