Grover Cleveland is the principal and founder of Lessons for Sharks LLC. He provides interactive workshops for Am Law 200 firms focused on increasing associate productivity. Grover also accepts select individual coaching engagements. Grover is a former partner at Foster Pepper PLLC, one of the larger law firms in the Northwest. His clients included the Seattle Seahawks professional football team as well as other companies owned by Microsoft co-founder, Paul Allen. He is a sought-after speaker on law career success and the author of Swimming Lessons for Baby Sharks: The Essential Guide to Thriving as a New Lawyer. Published by West Academic, the book is in its third edition and includes a foreword by Mark Weber, Assistant Dean for Career Services, Harvard Law School. Grover is also the author of Taming Time, the time management chapter in An Associate's First Year: A Guide to Thriving at a Law Firm published by the Practising Law Institute (PLI). Grover is a regular speaker at national legal career conferences, and he writes a widely read career advice column for lawyers. His columns appear in numerous blogs and publications, including Ms. JD and American Bar Association sites. He was named after his grandfather who was named after the 22nd and 24th President of the United States. There is no blood relationship.
