Tanya has been working on the people side of business since 2009 within the hospitality and tourism industries. She has served as an internal consultant in roles ranging from HR Manager to Corporate HR Director to organizations impacted by seasonality located in Alaska, Massachusetts, Virginia, and Maine. She also has experience in the retail and science industries and in working with non-profit organizations. Tanya's wide range of experience and professional interests includes, but is not limited to, HR compliance/employment law, psychology in the workplace, leadership development and toxicology, team theory & building, performance management, employee relations, coaching & advising leaders, training design and facilitation, culture development, employer branding, employee engagement & motivation, staff housing & recreation, and leadership/management development. Tanya holds a B.B.A. in Management and Music Business from Trevecca Nazarene University and graduated top of her business class. She has also completed all requirements towards a M.S. in Industrial/Organizational Psychology through Albizu University and currently holds SPHR, SHRM-CP, and Six Sigma Black Belt certifications. In addition, she is a certified Life/Career Coach through the Life Purpose Institute and an authorized partner to Wiley Everything DiSC. Tanya is a member of SHRM, the Seasonal Human Resources Association, and the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
